FLY FISHERS OF FAME Fly Fishers of Fame has been published by Medlar in conjunction with the family of Peter Keen.This book is a tribute to nine fly fishermen - men who have been an inspiration to the author & to many a fly fisherman. In Fly Fishers of Fame, Peter Keen gives a potted biography of each & examines the skills or/& the research that qualifies them as role-models for modern-day fly fishers. The book does not attempt to provide a comprehensive listing & analysis of the greatest fly fishers; it is both subjective in its selection & personal in its approach. These mini-biographies of angling role-models will help to inform & inspire both novice & experienced fly fishers.Sadly, the author was not well enough to work with us during the book's production & died a few days after publication.
