I have made 3 trips to Christmas Island so was hoping this would be a video that might help to illustrate my experiences there. I was very disappointed. The video is approx. 30 minutes long but does not do a good job of showing what Christmas Island is famous for; bone fishing. There are a few bonefishing shots, trevally, and a few other flats fish, but the film maker could (should?) have shown so much more. This video doesn't begin to show the diversity of flats that an angler might visit while on the atoll. In fact a fair portion of the available film is taken up showing a guy catching a huge yellowfin tuna. Nice, but this is not why most fly rodders visit the atoll! Purchase this if you must, but the good news for those who decide to visit the world's largest coral atoll is that there is much more to see than what is offered here.
