BLUE LINES: A FISHING LIFE About fishing small streams in the Rocky Mountain West. It follows one man's life from Colorado childhood streams to Montana high country creeks. Blue Lines is filled with superbly told fishing stories, and it shows us fishing as a healer, fishing as common ground between adversaries, and fishing as a way to escape the travails of the mundane.About the Author:A life-long Westerner, Tom Reed is the author of three books. In 2003, he wrote Great Wyoming Bear Stories, a work compiled through dozens of personal interviews with people whose lives had been changed both positively and negatively by Wyoming bruins. Most recently, he wrote Give Me Mountains For My Horses, a collection of essays about horses that Reed has owned in his lifetime. He is a regular columnist of Wyoming Wildlife News and has won multiple awards from the Wyoming Wildlife Federation, the Association for Conservation Information, the Colorado Press Association and the Wyoming Press Association. He attended the prestigious Bread Loaf Writer's Conference at Middlebury College in 2001. He currently splits his time between Montana and Wyoming. ISBN: 1-60639-024-4 publish date: 09/14/2010
